Dana 30 standard cut axles have a 7.2" ring gear that bolts to the carrier with (10) 3/8" – 24 bolts. The pinion has a 1.375" diameter shaft with 26 splines. This axle can be visually identified by its 10 cover bolts. The carriers available support 3.54 and numerically lower ratios and 3.73 and numerically higher ratios.
